On July 31 2022, an on-line advanced macropod training course was held, presented by Dr Rosemary Austen and Professor Steve Garlick from the Possumwood  Wildlife Veterinary Hospital and Recovery Centre near Bungendore in New South Wales.  The key theme of the course was macropod stress, its theoretical foundation and its observation in practical trauma and illness situations such as wire fence entanglement, dog and fox attack and burns from catastrophic bushfires. Associated topics such as renal failure and the Herpesvirus were also covered.
